Types of pool
Concrete ‘Gunite’ sprayed, steel re-inforced shell
This system provides the opportunity to form a swimming pool to virtually any given shape.
Block Built Steel re-inforced shell
This method gives the common square or rectangle shaped pool shell, where logistical problems may prevent the Gunite being used.
Block built Liner Shell
This system is used for liner pool construction only, where steel re-inforcing is not required, thus reducing the cost of the project
Types of Spas
Concrete Block or ‘Gunite’ sprayed, steel re-inforced shell
This provides an opportunity to form a spa bath to virtually any given shape and to incorporate the spa in addition to a waterfall effect into an adjacent concrete swimming pool.
Acrylic Pre-formed Shell
These are supplied in many shapes & finishes already pre-formed and can be installed individually or within the design of a wet leisure area.
POOL & SPA FINISHES
Concrete re-inforced pools
Mosaic Swimming Pools specialise in all types of mosaic tile finishes, from vitrous glass to travertine stone, to create the best effect for the chosen design of the pool/spa project. Each design is individual and can incorporate mosaic patterns & motifs.
We are also specialists in the application of a marble plaster finish, which incorporates marble chippings, dust & cement with dyes to provide our clients with a matt coloured polished internal surface to suit the design project. This product is mixed on site to achieve a unique bespoke finish.
Block built pools
These pool shells are specifically built to accept either a ‘bag’ type liner of 20 or 30 thou thickness in many printed designs, or an on site welded liner. The on-site welded liner system is 1.5mm in thickness and provides a very hard wearing internal finish to the swimming pool. It is cut on site to suit any swimming pool shape, which can be particularly good for old pool renovations or new pool construction, such as leisure centres or holiday camps, where the pool is heavily used.
POOL FILTRATION & SANITATION
Mosaic Pools understands that one of the most common concerns for clients is the maintenance of the swimming pool and the complex nature of the filtration/sanitation package. Therefore, we individually plan each pool filtration system to give ease of maintenance to each project, incorporating the latest & most sophisticated water purification techniques, together with custom built electrical control panels, to provide our clients with a user friendly system.
AIR HANDLING
Mosaic Pools provide a complete specification for each individual indoor pool project, and can design, supply & install a full climate control system into each project.
POOL COVERS
Many of our clients are safety conscious, so we can supply & fit automatic pool safety covers that allow peace of mind for our clients particularly with young children. These can be supplied in various colours again, to suit each project.
In addition to this we can also supply the more classic manual roller heat retention/solar covers for the swimming season & winter debris covers for the off season.
